The Racing Sparrow RS1000 is a 1000mm radio-controlled sailboat designed for enjoyable recreational sailing. With its tall 1250mm mast, generous sail area and substantial 2kg keel bulb, the RS1000 offers excellent sailing performance in a wide range of conditions.
A step up in size from the smaller RS760, the RS1000 is a rewarding project for anyone who enjoys building and sailing their own RC sailboats. The design is straightforward to assemble using home 3D printing, with a two-channel radio system controlling the sails and rudder.
